Financial Support

Tuition Fees

Students undertaking the University of London Diploma in Law can apply for student loans to cover the cost of their tuition fees up to a maximum of £3,145.00 per year (current figures). These are paid directly to us and you do not have to make any repayments until you are earning over £15,000 a year (current figures).

Maintenance Grants

You are eligible to apply for a grant of up to £2,835.00 per year (current figures). The amount available will depend on your family income. Moreover, this is a non-repayable grant.

Maintenance Loans

As well as loans to cover your tuition fees, full time UK undergraduates can also get help to support their living costs up to a maximum of £6,475.00 per year (current figures). The amount you can borrow will depend on factors such as your household income, where you live while you are studying and how much maintenance grant you receive. For example, if you are living in London (and not with your parents) you can borrow up to £6,475.00. If you living elsewhere (again, not with your parents), you can borrow up to £4,625. Finally, if you still live with your parents, you can borrow up to £3,580.00.
