International University Foundation Programme
Introduction
The International
University Foundation Programme (IUFP) is a one year full-time course,
which offers students a fast-track alternative entry route to British
Universities for degree courses. The programme is aimed at international
students who do not have the entry requirements (e.g. GCE ’A’ Levels or
equivalents), which are necessary for direct admittance to degree
programmes at British Universities. Students successfully completing the
IUFP will progress to degree courses in British Universities that have
signed Progression Agreements with Middlesex College of Law.
Benefits of
IUFP
1. Provide a fast-track alternative means of entry to British Universities
and raise the academic standard of students on the programme to GCE A
level standard.
2.
Equip students with the skills required to ease into a degree programme
of their choice.
3.
Assist students to secure a place in a British University, via
Progression Agreements for the IUFP.
4.
Familiarise students with the standard of academic study obtained in
British Universities.
5.
Give students a thorough grounding on British History and Institutions
and prepare them for life in the United Kingdom.

Course Structure
The IUFP
is an intensive university foundation programme and requires
students to undertake at least seven subjects over a period of
one year. All students on the programme will undertake four core
compulsory subjects and three electives of their choice,
depending on the degree they wish to pursue.
Students will
undertake the four compulsory core modules in the
first term. Thereafter, they will study their
elective modules in the second and third terms.
These modules will be subject areas relevant to the student’s
choice of degrees |
