Dear Prospective Student Thank you for your interest in joining our College. To undertake the Diploma in Law of University of London, you must be normally 18 years of age before 1st September in the year of registration. Prior to registration, you will be required to attend an interview at MCL and undertake a simple written test to demonstrate that you have the ability that is required to complete the course. In order to qualify for the University of London LLB Degree course, you require 2 GCE ‘A’ Levels plus 3 GCSE ‘O’ Levels or 3 GCE ‘A’ Levels plus 1 GCSE ‘O’ Level (or equivalents). Diplomas and Higher Diplomas awarded by institutions acceptable to University of London (provided that they are at least two years full-time) satisfy the general entry requirements of University of London as a whole. To undertake the LLB Degree in two years under the Graduate Entry Scheme, you must already possess a first degree from a University. To undertake the ACCA Accounting Fundamentals course, you require 2 GCE ‘A’ Levels and 3 GCSE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent in five separate subjects including English and Mathematics. To qualify via the Matured Student Entry Route (MSER), you must be at least 21 years old. No academic qualification is required. To undertake the International University Foundation Programme (IUFP) students must be 18 years old and possess at least 5 Credits at GCSE ‘O’ Level standard (or overseas equivalent), which must include English language and Mathematics. With respect to English language, an IELTS overall score of 5.5 and 5.0 in each sub-test will be considered as satisfactory. Mature students over 21 years with no prior qualifications will be considered for admission.
